Angela Roy is the Founder of Expression, educator, performing artists, percussionist & dancer…Her productions have been broadcasted on CBC radio/TV, CHBC-TV. Angela has studied African Drum & Dance for several years, performing African, Togo based drum & percussion troupe “Gamalie”. Angela co-founded the Images modern dance co. in which she performed and choreographed productions that toured throughout BC. Angela is one the artists featured in the “Waking up the West Coast Visionary Book” available in bookstores across Canada.
Educator & instructor Angela has worked in the child development and education field as a course developer and instructor, both in French & English. Her teaching experience involves all ages and content area…from children to adults…from dance to developmental theories!  A combination of her experience as a performing artist, study of world music, merged with her training & practice as an educator/presenter led to the design of the “Rhythmic Art” Programs and Performance.

Angela is one of the ten recipients across Canada to receive the prestigious “Prime Minister Award in Excellence in Early Development and Education.” She delivers each program/performance with dedication and vitality “you’ll walk away feeling energized and inspired” She is known for her genuine nature to connect with people, her “laugh to learn” approach accompanied with her  “joie de vivre”!
Today, Angèle tours throughout Canada presenting/performing the Rhythmic Art World Music Program and Performance for conferences, schools, recreational events and festivals!
